Owens Corning Pure Safety Insulation
Owens Corning Pure Safety High Performance Insulation is the first insulation of its kind to be scientifically tested and identified as a consumer product more suitable for people with asthma and allergies.
The product is certified as asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation and is UL GreenGuard GOLD Certified for low VOC emissions.
Pure Safety features excellent energy efficiency with an R-value of 15, which has been newly expanded to R-21, R-30 and R-38 in 2021. The product offers resistance to dust, mold and mildew, while being designed to contribute to an overall safe and healthy indoor environment.
In addition, Pure Safety Insulation is fire-resistant and achieves up to 50% reduction in noise levels, another important consideration in the work-at-home environment.
Pure Safety was recently recognized by Green Builder magazine with the 2021 “Green Innovation of the Year Award.”
