STAT: Online spending on home improvement products has grown across all age groups, but 25-34 year-olds spent 18% of their July 2021 home improvement dollars online, and 35-44 year-olds spent 17% online – each higher than any other age group.

ANALYSIS: “As consumers hit some of the key life moments, like buying their first home or remodeling, they tend to focus more on projects that have a greater affinity for online purchases,” said Joe Derochowski, home industry advisor at NPD Group.
