NLBMDA ready to kick off LBM Advocacy Week

Lumber and building material dealers will meet virtually with members of Congress to advocate for industry priorities.

Beginning April 12, lumber and building material dealers from across the country will be meeting virtually with members of Congress to advocate on behalf of the industry’s legislative priorities as part of LBM Advocacy Week 2021.

Dealers will be focusing on issues related to affordable housing, including the Softwood Lumber Agreement, federal minimum wage and immigration reform, as well as COVID-19 employer liability protection.

In conjunction with LBM Advocacy Week, the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA)  is encouraging members to contact their legislators in Congress in support of these priorities.
