Whirlpool aims new site at pros

Whirlpool Corporation has introduced a new site aimed at building industry professionals.

Whirlpool Pro has been developed to meet the needs of the skilled trades while offering content and resources for major industry groups, the appliance maker said.

"The goal of Whirlpool Pro is to provide building professionals with tools that allow them to better serve consumers," said Kelly Safis, general manager of Contract Builder Sales at Whirlpool Corporation. "We deeply value our relationships within the builder channel, many of which date back decades, and we want to ensure our partners can count on us to help them build their business."

Builders, designers, architects, distributors and other industry professionals will find information to help them build their business, including insights about Whirlpool Corporation innovations in design, connectivity and sustainability.

Site features include resources designed to simply the selling process for trade pros along with analysis to assist pros in understanding and addressing consumer trends.

In addition to the new website, the company has kicked off an industry-focused marketing campaign about the power of collaborating with Whirlpool Corporation. The manufacturer said its "Count on Us" campaign emphasizes its commitment to providing quality appliances, purposeful innovations and reliable services to building industry professionals.

Whirlpool Pro has replaced Inside Advantage, the company's former trade website.

Based in Benton Harbor, Mich., Whirlpool brands also include KitchenAid, Maytag, Consul, Brastemp, Amana, Bauknecht, JennAir, and Indesit.
