Versatex unveils packaging option

Peel 'n Neat is designed to keep building materials clean throughout the building process.
A new packaging option designed to keep PVC trimboards clean during transport, storage and installation has been released by Versatex. The product is called Peel ‘n Neat.

Described as a tough, clear film that can be factory-applied to a variety of dimensions of boards, the packaging option speaks to the builders’ desire to keep materials spotless during construction.

“Peel ‘n Neat solves the problem of keeping these valuable surfaces pristine at every stage — in handling, after pallets are broken for sale, and while installers do their work,” said Rick Kapres, sales VP at Versatex. “After trying it out under real-life conditions, we’re making it available to all of our contractors, distributors and lumberyard operators.”

He added that stocking dealers and contractors already show strong interest in the removable protective layer, which augments standard slipsheets, corner protectors, wrapping and banding at a small additional charge. The film strips away easily, leaves no residue behind, and can be ordered for both S4S and Timber Ridge Versatex boards.
