Versatex announces promotions and hires

The PVC building products manufacturer continues to promote its veterans.
Continuing to promote seasoned veterans and acquire promising new talent, Versatex, LLC, announced personnel changes that took effect in 2018 and early 2019.

On the promotions list are:

  • Jake Hoffer, advancing from area sales manager to regional sales manager for the North Central Region. He now covers Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and western and central Pennsylvania. He joined Versatex in 2016.

  • Mark Edmondson, advancing from area sales manager to regional sales manager for the Eastern Region. He now covers eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He joined the company in 2015.

  • Dan Smith, advancing from area sales manager to territory sales manager. He now oversees western New York, Ontario and Quebec. He joined the company in 2013.

  • Chad Domrase, advancing from area sales manager to territory sales manager. He now oversees Michigan, eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. He joined the company in 2014.

  • Tony Van Goidtsnoven, advancing from market development specialist to area sales manager for Virginia. He joined the company in 2015.

  • Craig Dawson, advancing from market development specialist to area sales manager for western Ontario. He joined the company in 2015.


New Versatex market development specialists include:

  • Ricky Le, serving Georgia, who joined in 2018.

  • David Talarczyk, serving the Florida Panhandle and Southern Alabama, who joined in 2018.

  • Miguel Tapia, serving Westchester County, N.Y., who joined in 2018.

  • Cole Hedlund, serving Minnesota, Western Wisconsin and North and South Dakota, who joined in 2018.

  • John Chadwick, Sr., serving southwest Florida, who joined in 2019.


In making the announcement, Versatex spokesman Rick Kapres said, “I applaud every one of these men for their initiative and their innovative talents. Best of luck to you all!”

Based in Pittsburgh, Pa., Versatex manufactures cellular PVC extrusion products including Versatex trimboards, sheet, T&G, mouldings, prefabricated corners, and one-piece column wraps; soffit systems; dimensionally compatible 2-by boards; and the Canvas Series. Versatex is a subsidiary of Chicago-based AZEK Building Products.
