Tractor Supply promotes Barton to EVP
Tractor Supply Company has promoted Kurt Barton to executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
The move is effective immediately, according to Tractor Supply.
Barton has been with Tractor Supply since 1999, serving as senior vice president, CFO and treasurer of since March 2017. He was named SVP, controller and assistant corporate secretary in February 2016 and served as vp, controller and assistant corporate secretary from February 2009 to January 2016.
“Kurt has demonstrated significant leadership and drive in the CFO role. Over the course of nearly two decades at Tractor Supply, Kurt is a proven executive with a deep knowledge of our business and a strong sense of our Mission and Values,” said Greg Sandfort, Tractor Supply CEO. “This promotion is a recognition of the increasingly important role Kurt is playing at Tractor Supply. We are fortunate to have an executive of his caliber in this crucial position.”
Tractor Supply Company, based in Brentwood, Tenn., operates 1,765 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states along with 175 Petsense stores in 26 states.
