Tractor Supply among ‘Closed for Thanksgiving’ retailers
Tractor Supply has joined the ranks of industry heavyweights who will not be open on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
The farm and ranch lifestyle retailer announced that it will continue its tradition of keeping stores nationwide closed on Thanksgiving Day to allow employees to spend time with friends and family. Stores will reopen on Black Friday with extended hours from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Though stores are closed on the holiday, customers will still have access to Black Friday deals and sales online starting on Thanksgiving Day, the company said.
Tractor Supply operates 1,814 stores nationwide along with 176 Petsense stores in 26 states.
Other major retailers who are closed on Thanksgiving include Ace Hardware, Acme Tools, Blain’s Farm and Fleet, The Container Store, Harbor Freight Tools, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards, Mills Farm and Fleet, and True Value stores.
