In Tidewater, A Window World honoree

Business acumen meets corporate citizenship for Window World franchise

Franchise-based window retailer Window World recognized Window World of Tidewater as its 2016 Store of the Year in the large-market category.

The local retailer earned the honors out of a field for more than 200 Window World locations. The local company stood out for its integrity, superior customer service and its philanthropic activities, according to the franchise company.

Locally, Window World of Tidewater has received The Virginian-Pilot Readers’ Choice – Best of Virginia Beach since 2008.

“A home is one of the largest investments a consumer can make,” said Dave Reed, Window World of Tidewater co-owner. “We pride ourselves on providing outstanding service making the exterior remodeling process easier.”

In addition to his business acumen, Reed makes giving back a priority. The organization sponsored two local Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) missions and contributed $25,000 to The Stinger, Window World’s one-of-a-kind IndyCar, which was auctioned off in May, with one hundred percent of the money raised going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The company also sponsored the Virginia Beach Patriotic Festival to honor our military and donated to ForKids Good Mojo in Norfolk.
