There’s a new name in green products
Green Products Co. introduces new branding for wood preservative.
Green Products Co.’s Clear Wood Preservative has a new name, label and packaging. Green’s Clear is now sold as Green’s Water-Based Wood Preservative. The Richmond, Calif.-based company says it’s the same product, with a fresh new look.
Green’s Water-Based Wood Preservative is an EPA-approved product that can be applied to wood where ever it meets soil or water. It prevents damage caused by decay, stain, mold, rot, mildew and termites and controls warping and swelling.
The active ingredient, copper 8-quinolinolate, controls wood decay fungi and repels wood-destroying insects including termites and wood-boring beetles. The company says that the colorless and easy to use water-based wood preservative is ideal for above ground uses such as window sills, trellises, greenhouse benches, foundations, sills, planter boxes, lawn furniture and decks.
Clean up is a simple matter of soap and water.
Green’s Water-Based Wood Preservative is part of its line of wood care products, sold by Green Products Co., Copper-Green and Copper-Green Brown Wood Preservatives.
