STAFDA elects new officers

At its recent 42nd Annual Convention and Trade Show, held in Phoenix, Ariz., the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distribution Association (STAFDA) elected new leadership.

Sean Baird, president and owner of Hampton Roads Fastener & Construction Supply, Inc. (HRFCS) in Virginia Beach, Va. has been elected president of STAFDA following the event’s general session. HRFCS specializes in fasteners and construction supplies for new commercial and industrial accounts.

Greg Hughes, president and owner of Kinnunen Sales & Rentals, Inc., in Stillwater, Oka., was elected STAFDA vice president. Kinnunen serves the construction, residential, and industrial markets through 3 branches.

Additionally, 4 new directors were elected including Jay Amstutz of Ohio Power Tool in Columbus, Ohio, Allan Guthrie of DXP Enterprises in Omaha, Neb., Steve Dunham of SASCO Fasteners in Medford, Ore., and Jean-Roch Lavoie from Brocheuses Montreal, Inc., in Anjou, Quebec, Canada. The new directors will serve 3-year terms.

Also, STAFDA named new members to its Manufacturers Liaison Committee, including Steve Lebar from Tru-Cut/Galaxy Industries/NEC, Inc. of Cary, Ill.; Mark Lindstrom from Ergodyne in St. Paul, Minn.; Tony Mabry of Freud American, Inc., in Atlanta, Ga.; and Tim Onello from JWP Industries in La Vergne, Tenn.

Bob Cutler from CPMR, Cutler Industrial Sales in Islip Terrace, N.Y. and Brian Henson from Hennix Group in Mission Viejo, Calif. joined the Rep Liaison Committee
