Sherwin-Williams shareholders elect new directors

Kerrii Anderson and Jeff Fettig were elected to the Sherwin-Williams Board of Directors at the company's annual meeting of shareholders today.

Anderson, the former CEO and president of Wendy’s International, Inc. from 2006 to 2008, was appointed to the compensation and management development committee of the board. She has also been a private investor and board adviser since 2008.

Fettig was appointed to the audit committee of the board. He retired in December 2018 as executive chairman of the Whirlpool Corporation. Prior, Fettig served as chairman and CEO of Whirlpool for 13 years.

Anderson is also a director of Worthington Industries, Inc., Abercrombie & Fitch Co., and Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings.

Fettig recently served as executive chairman of the board of Whirlpool from October 2017 until his retirement in December 2018. Fettig was elected to the Whirlpool Board in June 1999 when he began serving as president and COO.

Earlier this year, Sherwin-Williams named David Sewell as president and COO, effective March 1. The 50-year-old long-time Sherwin-Williams executive most recently served as president of the performance coatings group, a position he held since August 2014.
