Sherwin-Williams has a new paint for pros

Supreme Latex paint addresses challenge of labor shortage at the job site.
Sherwin-Williams introduced Supreme High Build Interior Latex – a coating that allows large-scale builders to achieve consistent performance with peak productivity. Compared to entry grade builder interior coatings, the company says Supreme High Build has even better washability and hide. The company also says the application boosts productivity, requiring less labor to deliver a smooth, uniform finish.

The product will be sold at Sherwin-Williams stores nationwide beginning this spring.

“Like all professionals in the industry, builders are facing challenges from the skilled labor shortage and the demanding new residential market, so we are always looking for solutions to make their jobs easier,” said Kiel Menick, new residential marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams. “Supreme High Build is designed to cover a larger surface area in a smaller amount of time in a finish that hides better, saving large-scale builders time so their workers can quickly move on to other areas of the project.”

The latex paint has a high transfer efficiency with the ability to build up to 8-10 mils wet in a spray coat, compared to 4-6 mils wet when spraying at the same rate with a conventional coating. Those stats are supplied by Sherwin-Williams.
