Sawsquatch: Skilsaw unleashes a beast

Skilsaw debuts 16-inch Worm Drive Sawsquatch Carpentry Chainsaw.
Skilsaw has introduced its new 16-inch Worm Drive Sawsquatch Carpentry Chainsaw.

A dedicated chainsaw with footplate, the saw is designed specifically for impressive depth of cut, power, and durability to maximize jobsite productivity.

Backed by Skilsaw’s worm drive gearing technology, the new Sawsquatch Carpentry Chainsaw delivers relentless power and performance, with an unrivaled 14-1/2-inch depth of cut. A unique 15-Amp Dual-Field motor is specifically designed to keep the motor cool on the job, enabling pros to tackle the toughest job.

The included full house chain provides cleaner, accurate cuts. Featuring magnesium-built construction, Skilsaw’s carpentry chainsaw design is lightweight for easy handling.

Self-lubricating, full house chain with tool-less tensioning provides high quality cuts ideal for finish cuts, unlike most chainsaws that are intended for rough cutting. The depth of cut is ideal for cutting I-Joists and gang cutting large material. It is also the only saw of its kind to feature Skilsaw’s worm drive gearing technology.

“Based on our extensive research, we know how important it is for pros on the jobsite to work efficiently and productively. Providing them with the ability to cut through large capacity material with one pass is a game changer. We’ve created a chainsaw that delivers the ultimate power and performance to tackle the toughest jobs with precision,” said Joe Turoff, chief marketing officer of Skilsaw.
