It’s that time a year again: millions of brackets have been filled out across the nation as March Madness and the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament gets underway today.
We asked our readers whether they thought the tournament — and the brackets — might provide a disruption to daily workflow among the ranks. Especially when most work-related bracket pools involve a little cash for the winner.
Of the 77 votes received, 62% said it would only have a “mild impact” and be the occasional water cooler topic while 21% said March Madness would have a “heavy impact” on work with plenty of web streaming being used by tournament followers. And then there was the 17% who responded “what’s March Madness?”
