Here are some categories better built for brick-and-mortar retailing.
Some categories lend themselves well to online sales. Others don’t. HBSDealer recently sought to shed light on those categories that work better than others in the physical store environment.
A recent HBSDealer poll question asked: “What category is most conducive to in-store (as opposed to online) purchases?” Readers were allowed to select up to two answers. Here’s the percentage breakdown of the results:
