Architectural styles vary by region across the United States, resulting in different siding materials selected. According to recent research, the three most common home styles are Ranch, Traditional, and Colonial.
- Vinyl leads the market with 28% of national demand volume, and is commonly found northern and midwestern states where Ranch and Colonial styles with lap siding are prevalent.
- Stucco, accounting for 10% of national demand volume, is more prevalent in regions where Mediterranean, Spanish Mission, and Pueblo/ Adobe architecture styles are common, such as in the West and Southwest.
- Brick, most commonly found in the South where Traditional style is most common, is 11% of national demand volume.
