Postcards from a True Value Reunion

Chicago — True Value Company’s Fall Reunion in Chicago included a fashion statement: neon green. That was the color of the True Value EasyCare T-shirts, given away to celebrate the distributor’s paint offering.  The colorful Inspiration Realized color center was on display, and so was the trophy for retail design that the paint center won at the 2019 GlobalShop event.

Other colorful highlights of the True Value Reunion included 23 new Customized True Blue categories in the market floor’s Assortment City display area; Bargain Burner discounts of up to 60% on 150 items and a welcome reception that featured Chicago, Chicago’s own legendary rock group.

The photos above tell part of the story of the event, which ran through Oct. 6.
