Poll Results: Industry confidence
Optimism dominates pessimism among hardware and building supply readers.
Last week, the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI) showed an increase in May, after a huge drop in April.

The HMI is derived from a monthly survey that gauges builder perceptions based on a good-fair-or-poor scale of single-family home sales and sales expectations for the next six months.
