Poll question: What's next for sales?
As the lockdown converts to the great re-opening, arguments can be made for two very different scenarios.
The first: as restrictions ease, and people get more comfortable shopping and traveling in a post-pandemic world, traffic to hardware and building supply stores will increase, and so will spending on home improvement
The second: as restrictions ease, and all kinds of retail outlets open their doors – including restaurants – people will have more choices to spend their discretionary dollars, and will spend less on home improvement.
This week’s poll question asks: “As states reopen, what do you expect will happen to sales at hardware stores and lumberyards?”
