Poll question: Health Benefits Review

SHRM is looking at health care benefits. How about your company?

The Society for Human Resources Management’s annual benefits survey hit the wires recently. In it, SHRM revealed that employer-sponsored health care rans as a major concern for both employees and employers.

The SHRM survey found that 85% of organizations prefer Preferred Provider Organization insurance plans. Meanwhile, though, interest in high deductible health plans linked with health saving accounts is rising.

The survey also found that 59% of organizations offer an HDHP plan option that’s linked with a savings/spending account while 19 percent offer an HDHP option that’s not linked with an account.

These findings set the stage for the HBSDealer poll question: How likely is your company to make a change to its employee health plan? The poll is available at the right side of the page.
