Paint mixer inspired by Milan

Italtinto brings optimization and Italian roots to its new line of equipment
Italtinto, maker of paint tinting and mixing equipment, is about to introduce a refreshed product line that the company says is inspired by its Italian roots in Milan.

The product line is designed to handle tough colorants, said Terry Newton, Italtinto’s executive VP. The new automatic dispensers have been specifically developed for direct dispense with no tubes, so colorants experience less travel resulting in reduced settling and coagulation,” he said.

Italtinto’s dispensers also offer recirculation for better homogenization with complex colorants. This promotes a longer machine life and cost savings. Other features include six-channel dispense for quicker filling, water/solvent capable machines, more flexible canister configurations, all aimed at providing optimal value to paint retailers in all channels, the company said.

“Italy is known for quality design and engineering, and we believe our innovative approach to these elements within our new models will reflect this,” said Newton.

The new line will be on display from April 10 to 12 at the American Coatings Show.

Italtinto intends to serve the market with both a product based and customer awareness approach. “Traditionally our industry has not provided their customers with much empowerment after equipment has been delivered,” Newton said. “We intend to change that philosophy and provide our customers with options for self-maintenance and cost containment, leading to an improved ROI.”
