New look for outdoor furniture brand

After thinking it over strategically, Tropitone updates its visual identity.
Tropitone unfolded a new visual identity for its line of resort-style outdoor furniture. The St. Augutsine, Fla.-based company rebranded its merchandise with the tagline: “Beautifully Crafted, Time Tested.”

Gene Moriarty, CEO for Tropitone’s parent company, Brown Jordan International said the brand’s new strategic vision “modernizes the brand.” He added: “The new branding is designed very well to speak to Tropitone’s strengths and provide a solid foundation for future growth of the product line and the business.”

Here’s how the company describes its new branding: “The updated Tropitone logo is a clean, simplistic and original wordmark. A new color palette of orange and teal reflects the tones of sky, water and sun — the essence of a day spent poolside.”

The rebranding launched Wednesday, along with the launch of the new Samba collection in its updated Merchandise Mart showroom at Casual Market Chicago.

Brands in the Brown Jordan family include Brown Jordan, Winston, Charter, Tropitone and Texacraft.
