New Georgia distribution center for Cameron Ashley
The building products distributor has finalized a move to Kennesaw.
Cameron Ashley Building Products, Inc. (CABP) has officially moved its Atlanta, Ga. distribution center to Kennesaw.
The move was finalized on Dec. 2 with the new location providing sales and inventory support for continued growth in roofing, insulation, and other building materials, Cameron Ashley said.
“Moving our Atlanta, Ga. Distribution Center will allow CABP and our vendors improved access to many of our existing customers, as well as the ability to serve many more in the area,” said Regional Vice President Tom Gaffey.
Key suppliers stocked at this location include CertainTeed Roofing, TAMKO Roofing, Knauf Insulation, Ply Gem Siding, and Lapolla Insulation. Future product expansion will be determined by customer needs in the area.
“This strategic move will allow us to continue to serve our loyal customers in the larger Atlanta area, while expanding our reach in the state of Georgia,” said Distribution Center Manager David Hennington “I’m excited to have the facilities to support the business development we have worked on so diligently.”
All incoming and outgoing deliveries and customer pickups are now being serviced out of the new Kennesaw.
Earlier this year, Cameron Ashley relocated its Houston, Texas distribution center to a new location.
Based in Greenville, S.C., Cameron Ashley operates a network of over 34 stocking distribution centers in 20 states with a total storage footprint of over 4.2 million square feet.
