Nation’s Best names new CFO

Nation’s Best Holdings, the rising hardware, home improvement and LBM retailer, has appointed Summer Loveland as the company’s new CFO.

Loveland succeeds interim CFO Rick Allen, who assisted Nation’s Best with the company’s initial store acquisitions and financial reporting framework.

Prior to joining the Nation’s Best team, Loveland was chief accounting officer of Green Brick Partners, a publicly traded Dallas-based land developer and homebuilder. At Green Brick Partners, she led the accounting, treasury, technology, risk management and internal audit functions.

Loveland also served as CFO of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System and worked for 15 years in the audit practice of KPMG LLP.

Nation’s Best is a member-owner of Do it Best Corp. and operates nine locations in two states. The Dallas, Texas-based company has more than 200 associates.
