Merchant promoted at Lowe's

Robert Posthauer was promoted to senior VP and general merchandising manager of home décor. In his new role, Posthauer is responsible for paint, flooring, appliances, cabinets and countertops, fashion plumbing, fashion electrical, home fashions, storage and cleaning.

Prior to joining Lowe’s in 2017 as merchandising VP for appliances, Posthauer was VP of sales and marketing for GE Appliances. He has more than 20 years of product, merchandising, marketing and sales experience, working with retail and pro customers. Posthauer earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Purdue University.

His promotion takes effect June 15.
