L&W Supply opens new branches in 3 states

L&W Supply, the Chicago-based building products distributor, has opened three new locations in Texas, the Washington, D.C. metro area, and California.

The companies latest locations are in Frisco, Texas and Springfield, Va.

The Frisco branch will be managed by Dean Johnson who graduated from L&W’s Branch Manager Training Program in 2006 and has spent 12 years in sales. With the opening of the Frisco branch, L&W Supply now has 3 locations in the Dallas area and 14 in Texas total.

“The Frisco branch increases our market coverage and makes our presence in Texas even stronger,” said Curt Jenkins, district manager for L&W Supply in Texas. “The new branch allows for added capacity and increases service levels to metro Dallas market customers.”

Industry veteran Bill Withers is managing the new Springfield branch. L&W Supply has 7 locations throughout Virginia with the opening of the Springfield branch.

“This new location helps reinforce our commitment to our customers in the D.C. and Northern Virginia markets,” said Jim Nix, district manager of L&W Supply’s Chesapeake area. “Bill’s proven success in sales and operations gives him the perfect insight to help make our presence in the area even stronger.”

Rounding out L&W’s latest locations is a new branch in IInglewood, California, which opened last month. Ismael De La Cruz, a 17-year industry veteran, is managing the branch. De La Cruz was most recently an inside sales representative at the Pico Rivera, Calif. branch.

L&W Supply now has 15 locations throughout California with the opening of the Inglewood branch.

“We look forward to becoming an even stronger partner for our customers in Southern California and being part of the Inglewood community,” said Jake Gress, vice president of L&W Supply’s West Region. “Ismael and his team are committed to delivering the services, products and support that the area’s contractors need to succeed.”

L&W Supply distributes wallboard, suspended ceiling tiles, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners and related building products.
