Light construction show postponed

3/11/2020
Organizers of JLC LIVE New England, a regional industry event for residential construction, decided to postpone its Mid March event in Providence, R.I., to late August. The following announcement was broadcast Tuesday afternoon:

Over the past few weeks, we have been closely monitoring the situation with regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and as part of a managed postponement plan, we have decided to shift this year’s event to August 26-29, exhibits August 28-29.

We understand there will be questions and concerns following this announcement and following this announcement and while more information will be provided in the coming weeks, there are two things I’d like to address right now:

1. We will automatically transfer your attendee registration to the rescheduled event – no action is needed at this time. For questions and concerns, please contact [email protected]. We’re aiming to get back to you within 48 hours but due to a high volume of emails, please expect a slight delay.

2. If you booked hotel rooms in our room block, you will receive an email from our housing provider, onPeak, with a link to cancel your current reservation and re-book for August.

Please know this decision was made with you in mind. Health and safety have been our top priority and we feel this will provide the best experience for everyone involved.Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we all navigate this unprecedented situation. We’ll continue to post updates on our website as they become available.

Sincerely,

Kristen McKercher, Show Director
