Installed Building Products (IBP) is acquiring Cutting Edge Glass, a provider of glass and glazing services to the commercial construction market.

Founded in 1999, Cutting Edge Glass has one location in Denver, Col. with annual sales of more than $10 million, according to IBP.

“We are excited to expand our presence in Denver, which represents one of the nation’s strongest commercial real estate markets,” said Jeff Edwards, chairman and CEO of IBP. “Cutting Edge has a high average project revenue that further diversifies our sales mix into commercial glass and glazing systems.”

IBP has been active in the past year, having closed 7 acquisitions representing $43 million in acquired revenues. In recent months IBS acquired H2H Blinds, Green Star Plus Insulation, and Custom Overhead Doors.

“Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth plan and we continue to have a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across multiple geographies, products and end markets,” Edwards said.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, IBP’s diverse portfolio of services and companies includes insulation, waterproofing, fire-stopping and fireproofing, garage doors, rain gutters, shower doors, and closet shelving and mirrors, throughout the United States. The company operates more than 125 locations and services 48 states.

Last month IBP reported record second quarter revenue increased 17.9% to $332.6 million while its net income increased 36.3% for the period to $16.3 million.
