Eleven vendors recognized at Spring Reunion

The Hillman Group took home the top honor as True Value’s 2016 Supplier of the Year, but the co-op had other companies to acknowledge.

“The Hillman team is tremendously honored to win Supplier of the Year with True Value,” said Brett Hillman, director of sales for The Hillman Group. “This award is a direct result of both organizations partnering to launch new products and provide retailers with world-class service each and every day.”

Ten other vendors were recognized for their service and innovation, having exceeded the needs of retailers by delivering a fill rate of 95% and above.

Vendors also contributed to the co-op’s growth initiatives, participating in the Reunion conventions, Customized True Blue assortments and Destination True Value store remodels.

“We appreciate the outstanding support that our supplier partners provide to our retailers through their cutting-edge products and excellent service,” said Heath Ashenfelter, VP and chief merchandising officer. “They embody our customer-first mentality and are crucial to the advancement of the next generation of independent hardware retailers.”
