DeWalt lays plans for new electronics tools
Rotary lasers and laser distance measures are coming soon.
Attendeess of the 2018 World of Concrete earlier this year received a sneak peek of the new DeWalt 20V MAX Tool Connect Tough Rotary Lasers and Laser Distance Measurers. Today the company says the products are coming soon.
The 20V MAX Tool Connect Red and Green Tough Rotary Lasers feature Bluetooth connectivity, which allows them to connect to the Tool Connect app for approximate location tracking and tool customization features.With an IP67 debris/water resistance, two meter drop protection, and a highly-visible green beam or traditional red beam, the Tough Rotary Lasers perform in adverse job site conditions and provide an accuracy of +/- 1/16” at 100 feet, the company claims.
Three new Laser Distance Measurers offer backlit high contrast 2.25-inch (measured diagonally) color LCD displays for visibility in various lighting conditions. Each also provides quick measuring for area and volume to support a variety of applications including painting and flooring estimates.
The 20V MAX Tool Connect Green Tough Rotary Laser (DW080LGS) will be available for $1,499 MSRP and the 20V MAX Tool Connect Red Tough Rotary Laser (DW080LRS) will be available for $1,299 MSRP. The Tool Connect 330-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0330S) will be available for $179.99 MSRP. The Tool Connect 165-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0165S) will be available for $149.99 MSRP and the 165-Foot Laser Distance Measurer (DW0165) will be available for $99.99 MSRP.
