Craftsman pledges $10,000 for vets

2/20/2018

Craftsman made a pit stop at this week's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota as part of its "Make a Difference Tour," a campaign directed at rebuilding American communities with a little gristle and hard work.

The tour, sponsored by Sears Heroes at Home and Rebuilding Together, brought the 36-ft. tool-filled Craftsman trailer to Sturgis in order to get to work on the Sturgis Veterans' Club.

More than 50 volunteers lent their time to make plumbing repairs, do electrical work, make bathroom renovations, landscape and paint.

Additionally, Craftsman pledged $10,000 to Rebuilding Together in an effort to aid future veteran home renovations.

Meanwhile, Motorcycle Rally attendees will get to see Craftsman's all-new co-branded tool storage units that will be sold exclusively through Harley-Davidson dealers in September.
