New store for Bliffert Lumber & Hardware
Bliffert Lumber & Hardware now operates eight locations in Wisconsin.
Bliffert Lumber & Hardware has opened a new location in Germantown, Wis., that offers industrial, construction and retail lumber, and builders hardware.
The Milwaukee, Wis.-based pro dealer purchased the former Neu’s Supply Line Inc. lumber yard in March.
Bliffert Lumber & Hardware now operates eight locations in Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin and employs over 165 people.
The company has grown steadily since 2002 when Bliffert consisted of two lumber yards and 20 employees. Today the company is comprised of traditional industrial yards, new construction yards, and a neighborhood hardware store.
“We are very happy to be in the Germantown market and look forward to continuing to supply the same high-quality products and service that the Neu family provided for so many decades,” said Eli Bliffert, vice president of Bliffert Lumber & Hardware
Neu’s Supply Line, Inc. was started in 1945. Bob Neu took over the business in 1959 and ran the company until his death in June 2018.
Bliffert Lumber and Hardware has been serving contractors and homeowners in southeastern Wisconsin since its founding in 1904.
While the new location is up and running, Bliffert said it would continue to make updates to the facility.
