Beacon Roofing contest to reward veterans
Beacon Roofing Supply has launched its first “Beacon of Hope” contest, which will award new roofs to homeowners who are veterans.
The contest is open to all military veterans who received honorable or general discharges. There will be a total of five winners selected from around the country.
“The Beacon of Hope contest is one way we can give back to the men and women who have given so much to our country,” said Eric Swank, Beacon Roofing COO. “It is an honor and privilege to provide a safe roof that they can be proud of and that will protect their family and their belongings.”
Through Sept. 20, 2019, deserving U.S. veterans can be nominated for the award here. Nominations can also be summitted via email to [email protected].
All nominations must include a photo and short bio of the veteran, which includes their military branch, years of service and why the nominee is deserving of a new roof.
The company said that 10 finalists will be announced in September, and the public will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite finalists. Beacon will announce the winners and runners-up on Veterans Day.
