Deckorators, the manufacturer of composite decking, deck railing, balusters, post caps and related products, has introduced ALX Contemporary pre-assembled aluminum deck railing in welded panels.

According to Deckorators, the pre-assembled system saves deck builders valuable time and effort on railing installation, while the welding maximizes rigidity and strength.

Deckorators ALX Contemporary pre-assembled aluminum deck railing features a sleek and modern look, with a thick powder-coated finish that resists scratches and corrosion. The panels come in four colors: Textured Black, Textured White, Weathered Brown and Bronze. Brushed Titanium is also available in pre-assembled anodized aluminum panels that are punched instead of welded.

ALX Contemporary railing features a sleek 2-inch wide rectangle top rail profile paired with square balusters. It is available in 36- and 42-inch heights and 6- and 8-foot on-center lengths when installed between 2½-inch posts. The 2½-inch post kits feature 1-piece post trim and a leveling plate. Pre-assembled adjustable stair rail panels and two-piece post trim are also available.

ALX Contemporary railing is backed by a lifetime limited warranty on manufacturing defects and powder coating, a 25-year removal-and-replacement warranty, and a 10-year saltwater applications warranty.

“Our Deckorators Certified Pro partners told us there was a need in the market for pre-assembled aluminum railing with more rigidity and strength,” said Chris Camfferman, managing director of marketing for Deckorators. “ALX Contemporary pre-assembled welded aluminum railing meets that need while cutting installation time and giving homeowners the sleek, simple appearance they want.”

Based in Grand Rapids, Mich., Deckorators is a subsidiary of Universal Forest Products, Inc.
