Ace Hardware has introduced a festive, new word to help bring DIYers into the holiday season: "Thanksgrilling."

The Chicago-based hardware co-op says it wants to inspire Americans to make their Thanksgiving meal taste better than ever with unique recipes and grilling tips and tricks. The first-ever Thanksgrilling event is set for Nov. 16 at participating Ace Hardware locations around the country.

"We're thrilled to host our first-ever local Thanksgrilling events for friends, family, and neighbors at Ace stores across the country," said Lauren Pearson, national brand category manager at Ace Hardware. "Home cooked meals are an important part of the holidays and we are asking customers to try new twists on some classic Thanksgiving recipes by firing up the grill this holiday season."

The events will host a smorgasbord of shopping experiences, from grill demonstrations featuring Big Green Egg, Traeger, and Weber; to cooking lessons, including desserts and cocktails.

Ace created a web site that keeps track of the local events.  Here is the link.
