Ace to hold fundraiser in Colorado

Ace Hardware will hold a fundraising event Jan. 8 to12 in Aspen, Colo., the company has announced. All proceeds raised will go to Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America.

Each year, Ace retailers from around the country gather in Aspen for a weekend of training, networking and skiing. Ace vendors pay to attend and provide on-site training and discussion with retailers. Ace corporate executives attend to listen to ideas and network with retailers, and store owners share presentations on best practices.

All of the money raised from attendance fees, vendor fees, silent and  live auctions are donated to The Children's Hospital in Denver, one of 170 affiliated CMN hospitals. Last year, the event raised more than $25,000.
