ABC Supply hits The Bronx
The Yankees, the Bronx Zoo, the New York Botanical Garden, hip-hop: they can all call The Bronx home — the only New York City borough with “The” in front of its name.
Now, The Bronx is also home to ABC Supply.
The roofing and building products distributor has opened a new location at 3700 Dyre Ave.
This mark’s ABC’s second location in New York City. It also operates a branch in Jamaica, Queens.
The new branch’s manager, David Niedzwiecki, joined ABC Supply in 2012 and has served as a warehouseman, sales representative and delivery services manager throughout his tenure. Now as manager of the Bronx location, Niedzwiecki will manage daily operations and focus on leading and developing branch associates to provide the superior customer service, the company said.
“David is a seasoned associate who knows the opportunities and challenges that area contractors face and how ABC Supply can help,” said Tom Kuchan, VP of ABC Supply’s Northeast region. “He and his team are looking forward to building relationships with local customers and the greater Bronx community.”
With the addition of the Bronx branch, ABC Supply now has 21 locations throughout New York state.
Based in Beloit, Wis., ABC Supply operates more than 700 locations nationwide.
