NAHB promotes construction vaccine awareness
The National Association of Home Builders announced that Vaccine Awareness Week in Construction takes place April 19-23.
The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the safety, effectiveness, and benefits of COVID-19 vaccination among construction workers, the NAHB said.
The Centers for Disease Control and Preventions (CDC) recommends that all workers in the U.S. get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as they are eligible to end the pandemic and help Americans return to their normal lives.
The NAHB said that it supports the CDC’s vaccination efforts and is encouraging members to participate in COVID-19 Vaccine Awareness Week.
The association also said that home builders should take time to share important information with their trade contractors, partners, subcontractors, and their own staff about the benefits of vaccination and encourage them to register to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
“COVID-19 vaccination is an important tool to help us all get back to normal.,” the NAHB said in a statement on its website.
