Metabo wrench makes an impact
Metabo HPT, announced a new addition to its MultiVolt System with the 36V Multivolt cordless ½-inch mid-torque impact wrench, model WR36DE.
Water and dust resistant, with an IP56 rating to handle harsh conditions, it’s lightweight with plenty of power to tighten up to 240 bolts per charge, said the company.
With brushless motor technology, said the firm, this impact wrench has plenty of power for all mid-torque applications. It delivers 568 ft-lbs. of tightening torque and 774 ft-lbs. of nut busting torque with up to 2,400 rpm and 3,400 bpm.
The ½-inch square drive with friction ring provides a strong grip on sockets and accessories, and the large rubber bumper protects the tool from damage and reduces heat transfer to the user from prolonged use.
An auto stop system prevents bolts from breaking in the case of overtightening. An on-tool LED light illuminates dimly lit work areas.
The company said the same MultiVolt batteries that power the 36V tools can also power any Metabo HPT 18V tool.
