You can read about all 50 honorees here in the digital issue of HBSDealer. Additionally, HBSDealer.com will highlight a handful of honorees one batch at a time. Last year’s high performers from Alabama, Alaska and Arizona are featured below.
Alabama Warrior Ace After losing his own daughter to cancer, Assistant Manager Mark Miller remembers how much that last Christmas meant to his family. Teaming up with the Junior League of Alabama, he organizes a yearly Christmas tree farm at the children’s hospital where kids being treated at the hospital can pick out their own tree, decorate it and keep it in their room and bring Christmas joy to their hospital stay. Miller said, “My hope is for them to get another Christmas.”

Arizona HomCo Lumber & Hardware The stated goal at this Flagstaff family business is nothing less than to help improve the customer's quality of life. Here, the three Cs are core values, culture and communication. It should be no surprise, then, that there’s an abundance of glowing customer testimonials. “Our goal is 100 percent customer engagement,” said Todd Callan, chief operating officer. “We came up with the ‘concierge’ concept. More than just a greeter, it’s a customer caretaker to ensure all our customers are getting cared for.”
# # # Special thanks to STIHL for its support of the ALL-STAR project. (Note: Not all honorees are STIHL dealers.)
