McCoy’s Building Supply has opened its latest location in Liberty Hill, Texas.

Officially opened on June 7, the new store features 15,000 square feet of interior ail space and a paved, drive-thru lumberyard.

The new store serves professional homebuilders, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers throughout Liberty Hill and its surrounding area.

Store Manager Matthew Pool leads the store team along with Assistant Managers Tyler Volek and Alan McCarthy.

“We’re so excited to serve this community and build lasting relationships with our customers,” said Pool. “Our goal is to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly smile to everyone who shops with us.”

Pool, a native of Tyler, Texas, began his career with McCoy’s six years ago and for the past three years has been the store manager of the company’s Belton, Texas, location.

Instead of a typical ribbon-cutting, it's a McCoy's Building Supply tradition to open a new store with a board-cutting ceremony. The Liberty Hill board cutting is scheduled for June 16 with members of the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce speaking at the event.

Grand Opening week festivities will run from June 14 through June 19 at the store with daily giveaways, food, and vendor demonstrations. There will also be a chainsaw carving exhibition starting on, June 19.

Based in San Marcos, Texas, and founded in 1927, McCoy’s Building Supply employs more than 2,800 people. The dealer operates 89 stores, 3 distribution facilities, and 2 millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
