McCoy’s Building Supply announced that it broken ground for a new store in Liberty Hill, Texas.

The project is expected to take 32 weeks with Embree Group of Georgetown, Texas, serving as the general contractor on the project.

The new facility will serve builders, remodelers, DIYers, and the farm and ranch community and is projected to open in May 2021.

“We’ve been serving the Liberty Hill market for many years from our nearby store in Georgetown,” shares Dan Stauffer, McCoy’s vice president of marketing and real estate. “Demand for our products and services continues to grow, and we’re excited to provide our great customers in Liberty Hill and the surrounding areas with a location to call their own.”

The design of the store will reflect similar updated features of McCoy’s stores in Alvin and Bay City, Texas, with spacious interior retail space, a paved lumberyard and a large drive-through lumber storage area.

Along with their focus on providing high-quality building materials for any size of project, McCoy’s is a proud sponsor of Texas FFA, 4-H and the Texas High School Rodeo Association and carries a range of farm and ranch equipment.

Based in San Marcos, Texas, McCoy’s operates more than 70 retail locations, along with millwork and distribution facilities Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Mexico.

Last month, the dealer celebrated the grand opening of its relocated and expanded door and millwork facility in New Braunfels, Texas.
