The Bloomington, Indiana store moved to 1600 N. Curry Pike. The East Peoria, Illinois branch relocated to 399 Truck Haven Road. The Oklahoma City facility is now at 1500 W. Reno Ave.

All three locations carry steep-slope and low-slope roofing products and systems, siding, windows and doors, and related supplies. Other product offerings are determined by local market conditions.

Beloit, Wisconsin-based ABC Supply is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation’s largest distributors of siding, windows and other exterior building products.

Executive retires from Alexander Lumber

BY HBSDealer Staff

Alexander Lumber’s Tom Hodgson, executive VP of operations, announced his retirement from Alexander Lumber after 23 years with the company and nearly five decades in the industry.

The retirement takes effect Jan. 31.

Hodgson joined Alexander Lumber in 1992 as the Aurora District Manager, covering the Chicago Metro region. Over the next fifteen years, Tom built and led a strong team, growing the Aurora District into Alexander Lumber’s largest and most profitable division.

In 2007, he was promoted to his current role, providing essential leadership within the company during the housing recession and, more recently, through the final illness of its longtime president, Walter Alexander.

In anticipation of Alexander’s passing, Hodgson was instrumental in guiding the search for a successor and facilitating that transition ahead of his retirement announcement.

At its January board meeting, the Alexander Board of Directors elected Hodgson as an outside director and look forward to his continued service to the company in that capacity.
