Stine Lumber executive Jeremy Stine won a race for a seat in the Louisiana State Senate.

On social media, he announced:

"This past Saturday night, the voters of Calcasieu Parish decisively chose to usher in a new generation of leadership. While many challenges still lie ahead, I’m incredibly humbled our community entrusted me with this responsibility. I promise to serve our district with a servant’s heart and use the values of faith, family, and community as my guiding principles in the State Senate. From Carlyss to Moss Bluff and everywhere in between, I want each constituent to know; whether you voted for me or not, your State Senator is here to listen, learn, and work with anyone to rebuild our community."

Stine is well acquainted with the hardware and building supply industry even beyond the reach of Stine Lumber, the family business founded by his grandfather. Early in his career, he served as legislative official with the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association, before he returned to Louisiana to take a role in the family business. He also recently attended the NLBMDA’s ProDealer Industry Summit (co-hosted by HBSDealer) as speaker and panelist.
