Kodiak promotes Cody Brooks to president of Barton Supply

Kodiak Building Partners and Barton Supply have promoted Cody Brooks to president of Barton Supply.

Brooks will lead all operations at Barton’s four locations. He has served as director of sales at Barton Supply since 2018.

In his new role, he will continue to report to Don Barton, who will transition full-time to president of Kodiak’s Construction Supplies group.

“Promoting Cody to President is another important milestone as we continually enhance our operations through improved coordination, communication, and alignment,” said Don Barton, president of Kodiak’s Construction Supply group. “Cody’s contributions have played a significant part in Barton’s success. His experience, dedication, and demonstrated commitment to Barton’s core values ideally position him for continued success as Barton’s President.”

Barton Supply operates four locations in Colorado.

Brooks will remain at Barton’s Aurora, Colorado headquarters location.The new president Barton in 2012 as an account manager and worked his way up to sales manager in 2016 until he was promoted again in 2018 to director of sales. 

As director of sales, Brooks managed and overaw sales operations at Barton and has been instrumental in designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with customers, and evaluating costs to determine product pricing, the company said.

Barton Supply was founded in 1973 to source concrete materials to meet market demands and has been serving its customers for 50 years. Their primary business revolves around rebar fabrication, structural and miscellaneous steel, tilt-ups, and concrete construction accessories for commercial and residential projects in Colorado.

Additionally, Barton offers post-tension, residential steel, foundation supplies, basement windows, and rebar in the Aurora, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Frederick markets.
