Jeske Hardware promotes Powell to nat'l sales manager
Jeske Hardware Distributors, based in Appleton, Wis., announced the promotion of Ray Powell, of Palm Coast, Fla., to the company’s newly created national sales manager position.
“Ray has been an integral part of our sales team for several years now,” said Joe Daniels, director of business development for Jeske, a company that sells residential and commercial door locks and hardware to lumberyards, millworks, hardware showrooms and other retailers.
“His industry knowledge, combined with his extensive management experience, makes him the perfect fit for this role, and we’re excited to have him join our management team,” noted the director.
As the national sales manager, Powell will be responsible for overseeing and managing Jeske’s team of account managers.
Among other duties, the firm indicated, Powell will travel with account managers, helping them develop strategic relationships with current and prospective customers across the U.S.
“As Jeske continues to grow, it’s even more important to strengthen our relationships with our customers,” said Daniels.
Powell, who has been with the company for more than six years, was previously the account manager for the firm’s Southeastern territory, serving customers in Fla., Ga. and S.C.
Prior to joining Jeske, Powell spent 12 years in various sales, training, and sales management roles at Benjamin Moore.
