Installed Building Products continues to expand through acquisitions.

Installed Building Products, Inc. (IBP), the installer of insulation and complementary building products, has acquired W. International Insulation, Inc., better known as Intermountain.

Founded in 1981, and based in Kennewick, Wa., Intermountain has six locations in Washington state. The company primarily provides insulation installation services to residential customers throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Acquisitions continue to be a source of growth for IBP. Intermountain will add approximately $34.4 million in annual revenue, IBP reported.

“Intermountain significantly expands our single-family residential insulation installation services in the Pacific Northwest,” said Jeff Edwards, chairman and CEO of IBP.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, IBP provides a portfolio of installation services for new and existing single-family and multi-family residential and commercial building projects. The company operates more than 190 branch locations.
