Lowe's gets dibs on new Hitachi line

Lowe's Companies has secured an exclusive deal with Hitachi Power Tools on a new line of its professional-grade pneumatic nailers and fasteners. The pneumatics will be featured in their own dedicated brand display with color-coded nailers, fasteners and accessories. The fasteners will also be labeled according to local building codes.

The pneumatic set will include a complete variety of stick-style framing nailers, a coil siding nailer, a coil framing nailer and Strap-Tite Fastening system nailers for securing pre-drilled metal connectors to wood, a complete line of finish nailers (15-Gauge, 16-Gauge, 18-Gauge and 23-Gauge), and various pneumatic staplers along with a sub-section designed for driving collated screws.

It will also include a mix of Hitachi nails, staples and collated screws, as well as accessories like compressor hoses and pneumatic fittings and couplers.

With the addition of the new tool displays, Lowe’s now offers the broadest selection of Hitachi power tools.
