Goldsboro Builders Supply acquires Mebane Lumber

The Goldsboro Builders Supply Family of Companies, based in Goldsboro, N.C., reported that it has acquired Mebane Lumber.

Founded by the Landi family in 1945, Mebane Lumber is based in Mebane, N.C.

Goldsboro Builders Supply had been operating six locations from Wake County to the Crystal Coast in North Carolina. The company was founded in 1953.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“We are excited Mebane Lumber has joined our family of companies as the acquisition will expand our footprint into central North Carolina,” said David Perry, president of Goldboro Builders Supply. “Mebane’s  President Kurt Bergland and staff will remain with the company and will continue to serve Mebane’s customers with the synergy of the Goldsboro organization.” 

With the addition of Mebane Lumber, Goldsboro Builders Supply now operates 7 locations as well as other real estate and construction-related entities. 

In addition to the branch and corporate headquarters in Goldsboro,  the dealer’s other locations include Wendell, Mount Olive, Kinston,  Fayetteville, and Morehead City.
